Service

Merchant Ledger provides accounting-oriented reports based on information available through Shopify. Calculations may depend on inventory costs, order history, returns, and data supplied by the merchant.

Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining accurate product costs and reviewing reports before using them for accounting, tax, purchasing, or other business decisions. Merchant Ledger is a reporting tool and does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed and managed through Shopify. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel through Shopify’s plan-management interface. Changes, credits, and refunds follow Shopify’s billing rules.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but reports can be delayed by Shopify data availability, network interruptions, maintenance, or incomplete store records.

Acceptable use

You may use the service only for stores you are authorized to manage and in compliance with Shopify’s terms and applicable law. You must not attempt to bypass access controls or interfere with the service.
